Our Three Year Vision

Our recent growth and success provides us with a sense of purpose and vision for Macromark. We understand the beneficial role we play for both our clients and industry. It is our desire to be recognized as a World Class list company which drives our sales efforts and management teams.

The list industry is changing as much as it remains the same and the challenges are coming at a faster rate. Many of us look to technology and wonder to what extent, will it become a disruptive force in our business. The internet (part of the technology challenge) has certainly changed the way many of our clients do business and at the same time the internet has created many new opportunities for us and our clients.

The one thing that remains the same or is a constant is that the list industry is built upon the experience, knowledge and capabilities of the individuals that serve it.

We are always trying to increase our understanding and knowledge of what is working and what is not; a fundamental cornerstone of direct marketing and the one common need between all of our clients. Macromark will continue to identify and monitor the successes and failures in the marketplace, it's one of the things we do best as a company.

It's difficult to reinvent an industry that has not changed much in the past 50 years. We look to maximize the advantages that technology offers but ground ourselves in knowing that strong consultative sales is always going to be the most important part of our continued success.

Macromark Inc. is a dynamic fast growing organization that is 20 years old and 2 years young all at the same time.

The company which was founded by Howard Linzer in the early 1980?s began as a list management and brokerage firm for one client. In the following 20 years Macromark became known in the industry as a boutique list company that was lean, effective and very profitable. Reputation and hard work provided the growth for Macromark in those first 20 years. The client roster grew from 1 to more than 200 brokerage and management clients over time. This mostly word of mouth growth was a testament to the company, the integrity of the organization itself and its ability to recommend the best lists possible for its clients.

In November of 2004 Macromark changed its course, its leadership and its place in the list industry. Macromark's transformation was the result of Howard Linzer and David Klein (formerly VP of List Brokerage at Mal Dunn Associates) combining their expertise, client base and talented coworkers.

Macromark transformed itself from a boutique list company of 8 employees, located in Manhattan, to a formidable competitor in the list market with more than 30 professionals located in Putnam County, NY.

The leadership changes and the addition of many experienced key professionals from various list companies, changed Macromark's place again in the list industry. We have changed the depth of its talent pool and become more than just a boutique list company. We are determined to be known as the best list company in the industry with the best lists on the market. The practices and philosophy of the former Macromark continues with the new transformation.

Today we currently manage more than 300 lists and provide brokerage services for more than 200 clients. Approximately 50% of our business is list brokerage and 50% list management. We have clients and expertise in both the US and Canadian markets. Most of our client relationships in list management and brokerage are exclusive. We have not sought exclusive relationships but in many cases we have simply beat the competition out in the process of doing the job right. We believe in providing our clients excellent service, decades of real world experience and a belief that there is always more to be learned. We recognize the fact that we are only successful when we help to make our clients successful.

Due to the recent changes at Macromark and the unusual growth that we are experiencing our client list has developed and changed and continues to do so at a remarkable pace.
